Previous Philippine National Police chief Director General and Bureau of Corrections head Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa offered to comprehend the instance of Richard Santillan, the associate of clean election advocate Atty. Glenn Chong.
Santillan lost his life after a supposed experience with the individuals from the Cainta PNP, anyway his manager, Atty. Glenn Chong trusted that there’s an injustice occurred amid the episode and he couldn’t find that his assistant was a piece of a syndicate associated with carnapping.
During an interview with Pro-Duterte blogger Maharlika in the U.S, Bato said that he would talk to the high officials of PNP to solve the case of Santillan.
“Right away bukas pag uwi ko sa Pilipinas kausapin ko si General Albayalde, si General Ted Carranza, saka yung High Patrol (Group) director na si General Fajardo,” Bato said. “Talagang sisiguraduhin ko na malaman nila na gusto kong ma achieve yung hustisya,” he added.
He’s confident that Albayalde could help him to find if the police lied in their report that Santillan fought with them. Bato pointed out that he and Albayalde are serious in cleaning the whole PNP organization from the bad cops.
“Never niya (Albayalde) yan itotolerate, itaga niyo yan sa bato, siguraduhin natin na lalabas ang hustisya hindi siya mag co-cover up kung may nangyari mang kalokohan na ginagawa,” Bato said. “Kaya nga hindi siya nagpapalabas ng statement dahil sinisigurado niya na yung lalabas talaga ay yung katotohanan, nothing but the truth,” he added.
In the interview, Bato also shared his plan if he get a seat in the Senate in 2019 and what he learned from working with President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Ang natutunan ko, kahit ano pang marating mo don’t change yourself, just be yourself, magpakatotoo ka, wag kang plastik,” he said.
He also vowed that when he become senator, he will never change his style. “Itaga niyo sa bato, magkakaroon kayo ng public servant na hindi magbabago kung paano niyo ko nakilala ngayon, noon o kailanman, I will be the same Bato,” he said.
